Todays golfer, a leading British golf magazine, held the golf wedge world cup earlier this year,

After pairing eight of the top ranking golf wedges and playing them against each other in a series of tests which comprised of three differently handicapped players each using the wedges for half an hour playing shots from ten yards and fifty yards the eight wedges were whittled down to the final pair.

In the final play-off a Callaway X Forged wedge was pitted against the Mizuno MP-T Series wedge and the testing began.

At first the Callaway seemed to be getting the vote, judged by all three players as a nice looking club with a consistent feel around the green, was it the Callaway then?

When discussion of the Mizuno started the general feeling amongst the testers was that although the Callaway was good around the green the Mizuno was better at the fuller shot from fifty yards.

As the golf game will always have a variety of shots and the average golfer will be using the same wedge for the longer pitches as well as the short chips onto the green it was felt by all concerned that the Mizuno MP-T Series would carry the day.
