Probably the most popular golf wedges on tour the Cleveland wedge is a great club to have in your bag.
The RTG wedge is a raw wedge, having no plating on the club head so they rust. The popular name for this type of club is the ‘trusty rusty’ and it is very apt.
A friend of mine deliberately speeds up the corrosion by leaving them in his garden until they develop a good coat of rust, a quick rub with a wire brush and they are good to go.
The abrasive nature of the rusty face gives a fantastic degree of spin to the ball letting you fire into the green and stop it dead.
You may be surprised at the stopping ability at first but when you get used to it you will amaze your friends.

The RTG is discontinued by Cleveland but there are plenty still available so get yours now. Cleveland now offer the chrome finish and their patented ‘Black Pearl’
